OH MY GOD!

OH MY GAWD! OH MY GAWD! OH MY GAWD!

i was watching tv at about 5-ish - channel 8.

i saw this trailer for this channel 8 show, with that ezann (ericia's sis) acting as a retard, starring fann wong too and some other actors.

of course i did NOT pay so much attention.

UNTIL I HEARD LIGHT SURROUNDING YOU.

MY FUCKING GOD CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

straightaway my palms cupped my face while my jaws dropped to the ground six feet under and my eyes in wide disbelief.

CJY was like huh what? but he guessed it was the song but he couldnt decipher who as he finds it familiar since i played the song before on my lappy, my computer, my car.

then i said: EVERMORE.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cannot believe it!!!

how did singapore know?

CJY said: must be someone in mediacorp like u lah, go australia then fall in love with the band. so stupid.

i said im so happy for them - to achieve regional reach.

he said they'll become commercialised.

in my head: that's the only way to stardom.

COLDPLAY wasnt born HUGE either.

when i was at their concert, i couldnt help but feel distant but that's the performance of a 10-star band.

i cant get over the excitement!!!

Song of the MOMENT

I of course had to post a video of Light Surrounding You but did not realised i've already done that before. not once. but twice.

so i found a LIVE accoustic version of this song to post and the title had to be different from the previous one as each post has a unique web address that allows no duplication.

hence the title of this post.

and who could forget the very first time i saw the hume brothers live? i mean you probably cannot remember lah but i cant forget it for the rest of my life.

i think even if i suffer from amnesia, the only thing i can remember is that i've seen evermore live.

might as well credit my friend KHOO JIT HONG who's currently in Brisbane. God forbid, but i left my bunch of posters, including an autographed EVERMORE one, in australia.

he hand-carried back for me lah so that's super nice.

i told all of them to take good care of my posters because ONE FINE DAY, evermore will be famous.

and can you believe it? the ticket to watch them was less than 50bucks.

Snow Patrol - How To Be Dead

i dont think im asking for the world but what that guy did with what he drew on his card is sooooooooooooooooooo sweet.

lest you think im into this kind of disgustingly saccharine sugar-overload stuff, i do detest jay chou's music videos k.

cos its too far away from the truth and it's unbelievable - the roles that jay (or other guy) plays in his music videos are so unreal. hate it with a vengeance.

this snow patrol video guy seemed believable to me, to say the least.

that girl doesnt know how lucky she is to have a man do that for her. saying he loves her and he needs her and miss her.

seriously, i think it takes a REAL man who is simply in love with someone, in love enough, to tell the person he loves her, he misses her and he needs her.

it takes a whole lotta man to do that, i think.

every other man cant be fucked to acknowledge - or maybe they never really needed anyone.

is it a good thing or a bad thing? to not need someone.

it depends which side of the coin you're on.

Snow Patrol - Run

it's funny how THIS is the ONLY music video of Snow Patrol's RUN.

funny, why?

cos there are a million other videos of RUN where Snow Patrol sang LIVE.

then again, funny, why?

cos they can't sing LIVE.

and there are a million other people around the globe celebrating their glory of singing live at concerts.

i will have to find a good video on youtube of Snow Patrol's own rendition of this heart-wrenching hit.

i'm personally in love with the song to be honest.

and to be ABSOLUTELY HONEST, i'd pay to watch Snow Patrol live.

just to see for myself if they could sing live.

Augustana - Boston (Live At The Troubour)

the video that made me fall in love with Augustana.

another reason why i don't like american bands - cos i dont like american accents.

notice how he sang "BOS - TEN".

ewww. but no one's perfect.

coldplay's flawed too. he's a bloody briton, yet he sings can't as "KENT" and not "KARNT".

searching

Jason Mraz says Happy Valentines'

have i mentioned before i am in LOVE?

with MR AZ? that geek in the pink?

i've always wanted to marry a musician or at least date one.

so he can write poems to greet me in the morning and afternoon, and dusk and nite and midnight.

so he can serenade me with the keys on the piano or the strings on his guitar.

so he can sing me to sleep every night and sing me awake everyday.

so he can write poems to cheer me up, to encourage me, or just to say he loves me.

a rich man or a musician?

a musician.

ANY *FUCKING* TIME

I'd rather be poor and live with music all my life than to live a luxurious one without a day of music.

music heals me.

for one, depressing and depressed music are the most beautiful one.

coldplay's a fantastic example.

so are the smashing pumpkins.

TRAVIS is like so depressing.

and i just discovered AUGUSTANA.

saw the video for "BOSTON" - their hit single and i'm like, gotta hear them live.

the moment that lead singer who's also the keyboardist/pianist sang his first line, I FELL IN LOVE.

i went OMG.

hahahahhaha

I AM SO HOPELESS!

however, i am one of the simplest person in the world who's so easy to please.

u dont think?

Augustana - Boston

the oldest member in the band is like 23.

like Evermore. the oldest member in Evermore, Jon, is my age.

first heard of them from gen, and it was this song, and i'm like not impressed. cos no. 1, they're from the US. no.2 they sounded like any other US young alternative bands.

like i couldnt tell them apart from the calling? music wise and voice wise.

there is just no great unique thingy about them lor.

most of my fave bands are brits. or scottish. or irish - all great britain lah.

the prelude to boston is HAUNTING. voice is not too bad.

anyway, i was hooked lah.

and i fell in love when that lead singer sang.

so i like them now.

Muse - Time is running out

i'm not obsessed.

but i think ngak did it better considering he did it LIVE.
